Everyone has a role to play in the mission to save water – the most precious natural resource on earth.

Several large foundations and organizations committed to societal development, rural self-sufficiency and water-conservation have come forward and shown interest in our project. They have heartily praised our effort of providing a solution to the perennial water scarcity problem to the poor and drought prone villagers of the Rajasthan region. Some have affirmed their committed in the form of monetary support for development of the scheme. For instance, the World Bank has granted an initial sum of $200,000 for the development of this concept.

We have also received tremendous support from several large and mid-sized NGOs working in Rajasthan or in the field of water conservation. These NGOs help us in:

• Spreading awareness about water conservation and Aakash Ganga
• Proper selection of villages to implement Aakash Ganga
• Taking onus of supporting in management of Aakash Ganga after implementation
• Extension of the scheme to all parts of the state
• On field job for actual implementation
